My mom has a super old one that I loved so much I asked for the new version for my birthday last year. You can always find something to make in there that's simple and without a zillion odd ingredients.

I have "Day to Day Cookery" in much the same condition. I used it in school. Wonderful for baking.

My mother had that same cookbook. As far as I know, she still has it somewhere. Memories!

I have my grandmother's cookbook from the 50s. Most recipes include washing the butter and sifting the flour. Love it to bits.

I love well used copies of cookbooks - and when they are all marked up with notes etc....that one looks well loved!

Good girl wearing sunblock. The BH&G cookbook reminds me so much of sitting on the counter while my mom made cookies...of course I'd have to steal bites of the chocolate chips and batter when she wasn't looking.
